 Wednesday was rainy in the morning so we decided to tour the area around Shawnee. Lydia found some info on a covered bridge tour. The route took us through local countryside on a nice morning long loop that finished in the town of Bedford, where we browsed some shops and stopped for a coffee. Like Saint John NB, this area has a “Gravity Hill” which we had to try… it looked realistic to a point, but I cheated by checking the altimeter on my watch and we were going down….sorry gravity hill but you are a fraud! We wrapped up the day with a 9k run around the lake in Shawnee Park before breaking out the BBQ for supper.
