This post covers the last two days as we didn’t have Internet access while at the beach house.

Feb 5-6

• Went fishing on Alex’s boat – caught Red Snappers with Lydia, Trish aned captain Alex
• Hiked a picturesque ridge trail along the coast and returned on the beach at low tide
• Visited downtown Mangawhai for coffee and treats
• Climbed a massive sand dune and searched for unique sea shells along an isolated beach
• Dug for Pipis (clams) in the estuary at low tide
• Went body surfing in the waves at Mangawhai beach
